Part of JATC’s mission is to develop and host events that generate income needed to support our service projects. The funds raised are 100% reinvested in our community.
In addition to our Annual Trivia Challenge, JATC writes grants and initiates a variety of other projects to bring in funds for our Service projects to assist us with serving the children and Youth of our County. Members, friends and supporters of JATC can all participate in these projects.
Donations to JATC are tax-deductible as we are a 501(C)(3) non-profit organization.

HOW YOU CAN HELP JATC RAISE FUNDS!
Our major fund-raiser is a fun Trivia Challenge with dinner, a raffle and a Silent Auction. The trivia competition features teams of eight members competing in eight interesting categories of ten questions each. Prizes for first, second and third place are awarded and the winners’ team name is engraved on the Trivia Winners Plaque.

2026 Trivia Supporters
One of our sustaining members, Doug Baker of Doug Baker State Farm Insurance, helped us obtain prizes for our raffle tickets and donated $2000 cash this year. Binswanger Glass, another sustaining member, supported us this year with a generous donation of Table of 8 Prizes, and a “Silver Ridge Escaper in Eureka Springs, AR” for one of our Raffle Prizes, valued at approximately $800. Mountain Creek Ranch in Aurora, MO and JATC donated a Getaway valued at approximately $550.
Enthusiastic local businesses provide donations so that the Silent Auction table typically offers 120 plus items that appeal to everyone. The signature items from 2026 include:

With proceeds from table reservations, winning bids on 150+ Silent Auction items, and the sale of raffle tickets, our 2025 event netted over $16,000.

The next Grocery Grab will be Wednesday, August 27, 2025 just in time to get ready for Labor Day. Tickets are $20 and may be purchased from any JATC member. They will also be sold at the Rhodes Family Price Chopper store.

Harter House Community Cash
JATC collects receipts from purchases made at Harter House. We then turn these receipts back into Harter House and receive 1% of the total.

Belk Charity Days are held twice a year, once in the spring and once in the fall. The Fall Charity sale was held November 7-9, 2025.
Members of the community buy a $5 ticket from a JATC member, either in advance or at the store when Charity Sale is going on! $5 goes directly to JATC, and you get $5 off your purchase when you buy an item at Belk. It’s a win-win for you and us!
You may buy more than one ticket. Thank you for supporting the children of Taney County.
In September, 2025, Mr. G’s sponsored another JATC Days! Our community came out and supported us, and we raised $600. Ryan added another $400, and we received a match of $1,000 for a total of $2,000. Thank you, Ryan and Mr. G's for providing us with this opportunity and donating 50% of our food sales back to our organization!
