Part of JATC’s mission is to develop and host events that generate income needed to support our service projects.  The funds raised are 100% reinvested in our community.

In addition to our Annual Trivia Challenge,  JATC writes grants and initiates a variety of other projects to bring in funds for our Service projects to assist us with serving the children and Youth of our County.   Members, friends and supporters of JATC can all participate in these projects.

Donations to JATC are tax-deductible as we are a 501(C)(3) non-profit organization.

HOW YOU CAN HELP JATC RAISE FUNDS!

Our major fund-raiser is a fun Trivia Challenge with dinner, a raffle and a Silent Auction. The trivia competition features teams of eight members competing in eight interesting categories of ten questions each. Prizes for first, second and third place are awarded and the winners’ team name is engraved on the Trivia Winners Plaque.

22nd Annual TRIVIA was held on APRIL 6 AT CHATEAU ON THE LAKE!

One of our sustaining members, Doug Baker of Doug Baker State Farm Insurance, helps us obtain prizes for our raffle tickets for big-ticket items by donating $1500 cash each year. Binswanger Glass, another sustaining member, supports us each year with generous donations of Show Case items and other Silent Auction items or Raffle Prizes.

Enthusiastic local businesses provide donations so that the Silent Auction table typically offers 120 plus items that appeal to everyone.  The signature items from 2024 included:

  • RBA Marketing/Arby: Arby’s Roast Beef Sandwiches for One Year, Expires 4/6/2025

  • Branson Knights, LLC: 2 Night Stay at Pointe Royale 1-Bedroom Condo—$430

  • $400 in Tanger Gift Cards donated by a Friend of JATC

  • Autographed Jersey of #73 Nick Allegretti of the Super Bowl Kansas City Chief’s Football Team—Donated by Mitch Calvert and Glass Pro

Raffle Items were:

  • $700 - 28” Blackstone Grill w/Hood and Accessories Donated by Binswanger Glass

  • $500 Cash Donated by Doug Baker State Farm Insurance

  • $300 - One Night Stay at The Chateau on the Lake

With proceeds from table reservations, winning bids on 126 Silent Auction items, and the sale of raffle tickets, our 2024 event netted over $17,000.
