JUNIOR AUXILIARY OF TANEY COUNTY REPLENISHES SCHOOL SUPPLIES

Junior Auxiliary of Taney County’s major focus for their projects is to improve the welfare of the children in our community.  The idea behind this project is that schools receive lots of donations in August, but when crayons have been broken or caps lost to markers or glue sticks used up in the middle of the school year, schools need help replenishing these supplies.  Junior Auxiliary members shop the sales and save supplies up for this time of year when the schools run low. The budget allotted for this project allows JATC to purchase extra things schools need at this time of year, in addition to gift cards that teachers can use to buy something special for their individual classrooms.

February 6-16 JATC members delivered a variety of supplies to elementary schools in the outlying communities of Bradleyville, Kirbyville, Mark Twain, and Taneyville.  This year, thanks to a grant from the Branson-Hollister Rotary Club and several cases of hand sanitizer donated by the Branson-Hollister Lions Club, we were able to add Hollister Elementary to our list of schools being served by this project.  This project gives schools fresh life to finish out the year.

Please support JATC as we host our biggest fundraiser of the year on April 6, 2024 at The Chateau on the Lake. This will include a Trivia game, dinner, Silent Auction, Raffle drawing, and more.  We are honored to have Josh Grisham as our Emcee this year, and thankful to Mike Cathcart for serving as our Music Maestro again.
