JATC Booth was a Fun Place to be at the Hollister Grape and Fall Festival

Junior Auxiliary of Taney County was proud to join the other sponsors and volunteers at the Hollister Grape and Fall Festival.   Kristi Gabel and Debbie Lee co-chaired the event for JATC this year and the turnout was great.  We had 250+ kids come through our booth, and each one received a book and treat.  The Grape Pong and Pumpkin Putt games were enjoyed by both the children and the adults.  There was lots of cheering when a child got a hole in one on the Pumpkin Putt golf.

Kristi Gabel, co-chair of our event, said “It was lots of fun helping the kids play the games and rewarding them with treat bags and a book.  We were also able to promote JATC’s programs by handing out pamphlets about JATC to interested parents.  Thank you, Hollister Chamber, for allowing us to help make this a successful event.”

JATC is more than a nonprofit organization, it’s a group of women united by a single cause.  We are dedicated to helping and making a difference in the lives of the children of Taney County. That’s the magic of JATC.  It was chartered by a group of caring, enthusiastic women in 1998 and continues to grow and thrive throughout Taney County.  Approximately 50 members annually contribute more than 4,000 volunteer hours as they strive to improve the mental, physical, social and emotional well-being of children in Taney County.
