School is out, and Summer Solstice is just around the corner. Our volunteering never stops! We work even harder during the summer months with HOMEWORK HELPERS/ BOOK SWAP STOP, WOMEN'S CRISIS CENTER PROJECTS and Christmas in July where we all help with the preparation for Santa's Gift House in December.

Our New Board Members are getting adjusted to their positions, and recruitment for new members will start soon. What else does this new Fiscal year have in store for us? We were all excited to hear about the generous grant we received in May to start on our preparation for our newest Project “Learners Today—Leaders Tomorrow”. I don't want to wish the summer away, but I am really excited about the things our organization will be doing the next few months.

In the meantime, enjoy playing at the lake! It will take all of us to make this another successful year for JATC.
