A Magical Project

Next Saturday children will be shopping at the ninth straight Santa’s Gift House. JA elves have been working all year making handcrafted gifts which include snow globes, Ninja Turtle ornaments, cake stands, colorful paintings, marshmallow shooters, M&M rocks, wooden reindeer, plush toys, crocheted hats and scarves, candy jars, decorative items, squishy stress balls, and doggie chew toys, among many others. As the JA elves worked together on these crafts this year, they got to know each other better and had lots of fun making the gifts that kids will choose from at the Santa’s Gift House on Saturday.

All that was fun, but now comes the really fun part.  The JA elves will serve as personal shoppers for the kids, so they can find meaningful gifts for their loved ones, help them with craft projects, serve them treats, and listen as they whisper their wishes to Santa.

As this project reaches its grand finale, the magic of JATC will be evident in the smiles and laughter of the children and in the smiles and laughter of the caring, enthusiastic women who make up this organization.  What a magical way to wrap up the year!

JATC wishes you a very Merry Christmas!
